Well, it wasn’t that simple. Sure, I had a girlish build but my voice could use some work. I had to raise it a couple of octaves to make it sound believable. Thankfully, some of my acting classes had prepared me well for it. I just had to make sure my voice didn’t break when I was speaking.

I did a few recordings of myself. I practiced my new voice and tested out a few different pitches. To my surprise, I sounded like a different person when I played the recordings back. With a few days of practice, it was as natural as my real voice.
